Wilder - On July 27, 2023, after a short battle with Leukemia, Juanita Uralde Frank passed away in her childhood home, exactly as she had always known she would, surrounded by her family and friends.
Juanita was born on February 9, 1976 to Nancy and Jose Uralde in Caldwell Idaho. She was the second of two daughters.
As a child, juanita was shy and quiet and through her years growing up, she became more animated, loud and full of spunk. She was a hard nut to crack, but if you got through the protective shell, there was a sweet, soft, giving, loving soul. Juanita was fiercely protective of the the people she loved. If you called her in crisis, she was right there with the resources and comfort needed make everything better. It was gift she had. When juanita told a story, be prepared to laugh until your gut hurt. There was nothing but laughs to be had whenever she was around
At a young age, Juanita was a part of the Basque community. She loved all things related to her Basque heritage. Basque dancing, Basque Food and her Basque Family History. Juanita had a very deep love for her family in Spain. In 2013, she met and married her husband Mitchell Emettario Frank, also Basque.
Juanita enjoyed playing the fiddle, but only with her sister Maria, and only with an audience of one, her Grandma Bertie Bittick.
Juanita had many accomplishments in her life. In February 2019, she opened her first Woman Owned Company, Idaho Site Prep & Paving LLC, and with the help of her husband Mitch, their children, and several loyal employees, her business had great success.
Juanita had too many hobbies to list and she wanted to do them all. Her home and yard were examples of the amazing talent she had for design.
Juanita was a hard worker. Nothing but business to be done all year long, so when Christmas time came around, it was the best time of the year for her. She had the biggest party's with lots of food, games, and presents for her loved ones. It was her favorite time of year and preparations started months and months in advance.
Juanita's greatest accomplishment in life was her children and her grandchildren and she loved catering to them. She became an Amuma to her first Grandson Nyxon in 2018, followed by Cash In 2022. She learned of her next grandchild Layne due to be born in December 2023. These boys were her life.
Juanita is survived by her mother Nancy Azzolina, (Andy Azzolina) husband Mitchell Frank children Bradley Ferguson, Alicia Miren Ward (Michael Ward) son Anthony Cruz Toledo, daughter Isabella Maria Toledo (Michael Bennion) , Michala Frank, Gracie Frank, Jace Frank, and the loves of her life grandsons Nixon Michael McAllister, Cash Michael Ward, Layne Michael Bennion, sister Maria Uralde Miller (Scott Miller), nephews Zack Farris (Catalina Rolland), Nathan Farris (Dakota Walls)
nieces Alexis Miller (Andrew Eaton), Melissa Miller and Sammie Joe Miller.
Juanita was Proceeded in death by her father Jose Uralde.
Funeral will be held on Saturday August 12th, at the LDS Church at 3015 S. kimball Ave, Caldwell. Viewing will be at the church from 9:00am to 10:15am followed by the service at 10:30. Anyone who would like to join the family, An escorted procession will follow to the Lower Boise Cemetery 22410 10 Davis Rd, Parma, where Juanita will be laid to rest next to her Father. Family and friends are then invited to the Homedale Basque Center "Txoko Ona," where lunch will be served by the Homedale Basque Community. 333 S. Main Street Homedale.
