Lellah Robb Obituary

Coeur d'Alene - Lellah Ann Bodle Robb ,96, (aka Shorty, Lolli, Lee, GG), of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, passed away on September 12, 2025. She was born in Reeds Spring, Missouri, on March 16, 1929, to Raymond Swindle and Lucy Belle Barnhart. In 1944, the family relocated to Nampa, Idaho.

On March 3, 1950, she married Gene Bodle and welcomed four children: Anne, Jane, Carrie, and Jim. Lellah was the ultimate 1950-60's mom, raising kids, dancing at the Elks Club, volunteering, creating beautiful flower gardens, participating in civic activities, and playing bridge and golf. Gene passed away unexpectedly in January 1986.

Lellah reconnected with an old friend, Edwin "Pat" Robb, and they married in 1990. With this marriage, she welcomed four bonus kids, Mike, Kim, Steven, and Judy. Pat Robb passed away in 2006 and it was then that Lellah "teed it up" for the final round of her life. In 2007, she fulfilled the dream of owning a home on the Coeur d'Alene Public Golf Course.

Her professional life included working for the Union Pacific Railroad, Idaho Free Press, Mountain States Telephone, Canyon County Clerk's Office, retiring in 1990 as the Director of Volunteers with Central District Health in Boise.

Throughout her life, Lellah was active in the Presbyterian Church, Idaho Public Health Association, Mercy Hospital Auxiliary, Idaho Nurses Association as a Community Liaison, 3C's, American Volunteer Association, RSVP Board, and Idaho Volunteer Board. She loved golf and when she could no longer play, she enjoyed riding in the golf cart to watch great-grandkids, Troy and Thea Hill, learn the game.

Lellah is survived by children of her heart: Anne Dunn of Nampa, Jane Bodle-Hill (Paul Hill) of Coeur d'Alene, Carrie Donovan (Daryl) of Orofino, Jim Bodle of McCall, Pene Lloyd (Larry) of Rupert, Mike Robb of Mukilteo, Cindy Shannon (Tim) of Rose Lake, and Judy Robb of Kirkland; grandchildren Stephanie Seymour (Mike), Sally Bodle, Joe Hill (Kate), Jake Hill (Jasmine), Darby Thompson (Alex), Daniel Donovan (Allyson), Jennifer Wilkinson (Derrick), Justin Robb, Mark Lloyd (Nicole), and Eric Lloyd (Alicia), and great-grandchildren Andrea Stevens (Andrew), Adisen and Dailen Ragsdale, Troy, Thea, Bowie and Crosby Hill, Talia Counts, Thorin Thompson, Piper and Oliver Wilkinson, and Olivia Lloyd.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Gene Bodle and Pat Robb; siblings Shirley Pline and Dennis Swindle; son-in-law Dennis Dunn; and Steven and Kim Robb.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Schneidmiller Hospice House for the loving care they provided during Lellah's last days. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Schneidmiller Hospice House, 2290 W. Prairie Avenue, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho 83815 (www.hospiceofnorthidaho.org.).

A celebration of life and reception will be held on Monday, September 22, 2025, 3 pm, at the Coeur d'Alene Public Golf Club, 2321 W. Fairway Drive, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho 83815.
