Lorraine and I met in 1957 while we both attended the Elementary Education Teaching Program at Boise Junior College and became close friends. We shared many laughs as we went through classes and worried about passing the next test. Sometimes we even carpooled together if the weather was nice, because when Lorraine drove, we had to have all the windows clear down so she could smoke and her parents wouldn't know!
Lorraine introduced me to Womens' Bible Study Fellowship, which eventually led me to The Lord Jesus Christ. I loved standing beside her and being encouraged by her angelic voice, as she introduced me for the first time to the "Good 'ol Baptist
Songs"! Lorraine and I shared many precious and memorable
times together. She was a friend who definitely made a huge
difference in my life, and I give thanks to this day for that!
