Caldwell - Heaven gained a beautiful soul; wife of nearly 57 years, mother, grammy, and great-grammy. Marcia Jean Whittig passed away peacefully at home on October 19, 2025, at the age of 78, surrounded by family. Marcia was born in Caldwell, Idaho on March 22, 1947, to Owen "Woody" and Betty Lou Moore (Freeman), their only child. Marcia graduated from Caldwell High School in 1965, where she met the love of her life, Doyle. Marcia was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband Doyle, her children Lisa Bates (Gordon) of Bend, OR, Kent Whittig (Jennifer) of Nampa, Kirk Whittig of Nampa, Lari Holladay (Chris) of Boise. Grandchildren include Samantha Sutton (Caleb) of Bend, OR, Zachary Bates (Hope) of Nampa, ID, Audrey Whittig, Hattie Holladay, Santiago Whittig Pizarro, Lorenzo Whittig Pizarro, Owen Whittig, Claire Holladay, Nora Holladay, Ellie Holladay, and two great granddaughters, Kennedy Sutton and Reagan Sutton.
