Myrtle Booth Obituary

Myrtle Mable Booth
April 1, 1927 - July 18, 2014
Myrtle Mable Booth, 87, peacefully passed away on July 18, at St. Luke's Hospital-Boise, of natural causes. She was surrounded in love by her extended family and friends.
She was born in San Antonio, Texas on April 1, 1927 to Charles and Mable Walker. She met her husband, Sherman C. Booth, in California and they were married on December 21, 1947. After a military career, they settled in Phoenix, Arizona where they raised their five children: Terri Flores, Michael, Mitchell & Martin Booth, and Patti Olewinski. In 1982 they followed their grown children to Idaho, where they retired.
Her children were always her number one priority. She also enjoyed camping with the family, traveling, gardening, and the occasional trip to Jackpot. She deeply instilled in her children the value of laughter, in good times and bad.
Myrtle is survived by her five children, fifteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren and four great, great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers and sisters.
The family would like to thank the St. Luke's Telemetry team in Boise and the MSTI staff in Nampa for their loving care.
Graveside services will be held at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery on Tuesday, July 29th at 2:00 pm, under the direction of Elijah Booth. A family and friend gathering in Nampa will immediately follow the service. www.cremationsociety-idaho.com

I a very sorry to hear about your mom. I remember your family (Terri) thinking that Gina and me were Chuck's daughter's. She will be missed by many. Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.
