Paul Coonts Obituary

Houston -

In Memory of Paul Allan Coonts

It is with mixed emotions that we announce the passing of Paul Allan Coonts on July 7, 2024 in Houston TX.

He is survived by his wife Beth Coonts, children Melanie Samuel, Amanda Bowerman, and his siblings Dee Coble and Phil Coonts.

Allan was born April 13th 1948 to Vera and Paul Coonts. He grew up in Wilder ID, lived in Boise ID, Bend OR and Houston TX.

In this time of reflection, we acknowledge the complexities of our past and choose to honor the journey of healing and strength that continues in our lives.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Houston area women's Center:

Your contributions will help bring hope and healing to those in need.

I´m sorry for your loss of Alan. I always remember your family fondly from the early days when our kids were running buddies. Melanie and Amanda and Beth and Alan when you lived in Boise on kooteani street. Much love, Nancy Terrell and Kate.

Allan and I grew up together in Wilder, Idaho.
Our parents Ermal Coonts and Paul were 1st cousins and lots of stories told over the years. Allan was always a kind and thoughtful person to all. He will be missed.
