Dear Pops, I am going to miss your kind face and gentle smile at Christmases and Thanksgivings. I will miss the grandfather I witnessed you to be to all of your grandchildren. They miss you so much. I saw them with their arms around you. You were in your comfort zone with these grandchildren. You were easy to talk to, and you loved my banana cream pie. I dedicate all of my banana cream pies in the future to you until the day I die. You will be missed.

Dear Pops thank you for being a great friend, a great husband to Marie, a great father to the boys, and I thank you most for being a great grandfather to Robbie, Bubs, Haylee, Destinie, and Alecia. I will miss you my golf partner, and will miss having lunch with you at Mickey D's. I love the stories you had to tell. You made me laugh so hard. Say hi to our father in heaven for me.

My friends, many of whom we knew when we were young, sent prayers and love to your family. I always knew you'd be a great father and I'm glad you had the opportunity to not only be a father, but a grandfather. I know you were so proud of them. I believe you won't be far from your family, to help them and guide them and send love to them daily. You'll be missed by those of us who knew you and loved you. Rest in peace.
