Robert Warnock Obituary

Nampa - With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Robert "Bob" Warnock, a devoted father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. Bob passed away in Nampa on March 19, 2025. He left us with cherished memories, laughter, and love that will live on in our hearts forever.

Bob was born on July 22, 1956 in Nampa. Bob was known for his quick wit, generous soul, and kind heart. He took every opportunity to crack a joke, bringing joy to those around him. He was a man of immense kindness, always willing to lend a hand and offer support.

A proud athlete in his younger days, Bob played football and basketball and carried his love for sports throughout his life. He was an avid supporter of his children and grandchildren, never missing an opportunity to cheer them on in their endeavors. Whether on the sidelines or in the stands, he was their biggest fan.

Bob had a deep love for the outdoors, especially the Sawtooth Mountains. Camping, backpacking, skiing, and exploring nature brought him great joy. Hardworking and dedicated, Bob put his heart into everything he did. His presence left a lasting impact on those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Bob is survived by his mother, Marge Warnock; his sisters, Phyllis (Larry) McMillin and Vonnie Wasden; his children, Jenn (Josh) Kevan and Bryan (Sarah) Warnock; and his adored grandchildren, Ian, Maggie, Lanie, and Sami. His presence was a source of comfort, laughter, and unwavering support, and his absence leaves an immeasurable void in our lives.

Though he is no longer with us, his love, humor, and adventurous spirit will remain with us.

A Celebration of Life for family and friends will be held on Saturday, March 22nd, at The Syringa - Downtown Nampa, 108 12th Ave. So. A tribute will be given at 12:00PM with an open house from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, please share a joke or story today in Bob's memory-he would have loved that.

Always looked up to Bob. Admired his athleticism and good nature. We also went to church together. He was a gentle giant. Sorry for you loss.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I met Bob shortly after High School. It was our love of the mountains that drew us together. I spent 3 or 4 backpacking trips with Bob and Rich Kalbus, in the Sawtooth and White Cloud mountain ranges. He was a great guy, had a huge heart, I will always cherish my memories of our time together.

While riding on a chairlift at Bogus with Bob he decided that since I wore an orange sweatshirt daily and was always with my girlfriend Sheree, my nickname would be, Sheree's little pumpkin!!!

I had met bob in school, we graduated high school together. He was fun to be around and was well liked. I lost track of him over the years, as we do sometimes. I'm so sorry for the loss and the pain the family is going through.
