Samuel Storck Obituary

Meridian - On Thursday, April 13, 2023, Samuel Storck, loving husband and father of three children, passed away peacefully at the age of 78.

"Sam" was born on March 10, 1945, along with his twin sister Susie in Youngstown, Ohio. He graduated in 1963, from Grover Cleveland High School in Los Angeles, California where he was known for his smile.

He met his wife Darlene in Los Angeles, CA while working in title and escrow. They made the move to Boise, ID in 1981 to start their family and enjoy the outdoors, camping with family friends in Cascade, Idaho.

Sam was known for his love of skiing, fishing and golfing. His voice and laughter compared to no one else you always knew when Sam had arrived. He loved watching golf tournaments and football, especially BSU Go Broncos!

Sam was a member of the Boise Bench Lions Club for 20 + years and recipient of the Melvin Jones award. He and his wife, Darlene, participated in several community service activities and volunteer events.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gus and Ruth; his brothers, Gus, Mike, and Susie. He leaves behind his wife, Darlene, his children Tammy, Danielle, and Allison; his grandchildren Christine, Ashlynn, Alexie, and William; great grandchild, Dillon and nephews and nieces.

A celebration of his life is being planned for friends and family later this summer.
