When I remember Steve, I´m reminded of a time when our family had so much fun with my catering company. Amy would be working side by side with my mother and Steve would call in a huge order every day from his office. Their involvement was crucial for me because it was the love that gravitated from our group that made this business tick. As time passed, he was always there while I cared for my parents. He´d bring donuts and make pharmacy runs. After they passed away he & my aunt were the only family left of that generation. He will never know how much I enjoyed his stories of my grandparents and aunts and uncles when they were young. He was ancestry.com with antidotes of family who made the Godfather look like the Apprentice. These past couple of years I spent some time with Steve. He was proud. Strong. Independent. Stubborn. And a great lover of good food and especially cheesecake. He lasted 2 years beyond his love and is now reunited. He will be missed.
