Tammy Jo Chavez

1961 - 2023

Nampa - Tammy Jo Chavez, April 24, 1961- May 2, 2023. She was 62 years old. It is hard to believe that you are gone, and we are missing you! She died peacefully in her sleep, and she is now with our Lord Jesus Christ.

Tammy was born in Redwood City, CA and when she was a pre- teen, she moved to Montana, and she attended Columbia Falls Junior H.S. When she was sixteen years old, she moved to Nampa, Idaho, and she graduated from Nampa H.S.

She was a stay-at-home mom for years to her four children and then had a career as a medical assistant at Mercy Medical Hospital.

Tammy loved life to the fullest and all that met her loved her to the fullest. She was very funny and loved to be the center of attention. She almost expected it when she walked into a room. She could get anyone to smile or laugh and feel a connection to her.

You are a loving woman, caring mother and daughter, great sister, and a very cool Grandmother.

She is survived by her mother, Donna Schenck; brother, Charles J. Schenck and his wife, Tami; sister, Trina Westberg; son, Sean and Mackenzie Chavez and their children: Nevaeh, Rayanna, and Harmony; Daughter, Shaylyn and Mike St.Peter and their children: Baylee, Chandra, and Tyson; Daughter, Sarah and Anthony Mondragon and their children: Silas and Aubrey; and youngest son, Noah Chavez; the father of her children, Donnie Chavez; and her nieces, Marissa Lynn Delcambre and Chelsea Thompson

She was preceded in death by her father, Chuck Schenck, and a nephew, Eric Schenck
