William Edward "Bill" Coffelt

1970 - 2021

Nampa - "Bill" William Edward Coffelt, 51, of Nampa, passed away October 19, 2021, surrounded by his family.

This man, who loved and helped so many, will be celebrated in the same way he honored his friends and family -- with tears and laughter -- 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 26, at Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.

A long-time Treasure Valley resident, Bill was born January 9, 1970, to Jean Carolyn Colwell and Wesley Earl Coffelt, and attended Nampa High School.

Bill built the business, Coffelt Masonry, on a solid foundation of hard work and commitment over the last 20 years. It's the same way he approached his projects, the company's projects and projects for his family and friends. Bill always loved to help because he could share his skills, knowledge and equipment.

He loved spending time on the back patio with a Corona in hand while listening to 80s music or camping with his family and friends. If he wasn't out in the shop working on a project, you could find him in the fields or on the river during duck hunting season, it was a passion for him!

Bill lived an entire lifetime in his short life. He was dedicated to his love, Cori Buck, and her two teenage sons, Masen and Rocco. He adored his three grown children, Marquis, Derrick and Brandon; and seven grandchildren: Michael, Tycen, Jaxson, Oakley, Phoenix, Ayra and Reagan. He spoiled his dogs, Shelby, Gemma Jones and Kai.

His parents preceded him in death and he is survived by family members, including his sister Laura Seeley, whom he was especially close to, and a small circle of close friends and an even bigger circle of good people he met along the way.

The family would like to thank friends and others for their support through the past few weeks as Bill battled against COVID pneumonia.
