William Means Obituary

Nampa - I was a common man. I was born. I lived. I died. In between those years many events structured my life. I attended schools through the twelfth grade. I learned some things. I served in the U.S. Military for three years. I learned some more things.

I married twice, and those marriages provided me with seven children, each of which I loved equally. Those children provided me with grandchildren, each of which I loved equally. Those grandchildren provided me with great grandchildren, each of which I loved equally. All of them know who they are and are not needed to be named here.

During the course of my life, I worked for wages and provided for my family. I also met many people whom became friends, and some still were at my death. I also continued to learn more things during that time.

I Made many mistakes during my life, and tried to correct them, and at times atone for them. I never made any noteworthy accomplishments, and never received any award or presentations. There will be no articles written about me nor will my life ever be featured on television. I was a very common man.

I had one most memorable event in my life. That was in 1984, when I met and married the most important person in my life. She knows, as did I, that we will meet again, and share the rest of eternity.

Private services were held. Arrangements by Nampa Funeral Home Yraguen Chapel where an online guest book and full obit is available at www.nampafuneralhome.com

Bill was an important resident of Goldcrest Community. He started many memorable traditions; the least of which is a wall of pictures of residents who served in the military. We will miss both Bill and Carol. Consider yourself awarded for your contribution to our community and sharing that happy personality with us.
