Adam Andersen Obituary

Adam Andersen
04/20/1981 - 01/10/2018
Adam Wayne Andersen, 36, of Idaho Falls, passed away January 10, 2018, from injuries sustained in a snowmobile accident.
The party began April 20, 1981, when Adam was born to Ed and Noreen Andersen in Pocatello, Idaho. He caused trouble in Pocatello until the age of ten, when his family settled in Rigby where Adam would go on to graduate from Rigby High School.
Adam attended Idaho State University on a football scholarship and later moved to Louisville, Kentucky, to finish his Bachelors in Biology at the University of Louisville. Adam returned to Idaho and would go on to proudly establish his own trucking company. In 2017, Adam took a position with Teton Petroleum Transport as a regional manager so he could be home every night with his family.
Adam was remarkable in many aspects of his life, but in one particular he genuinely excelled. Adam was a devoted, loving, and patient father and husband who had a love for his wife and children that could move mountains.
Adam was a man of adventure. He grew up roaming the mountains of Idaho with his father and mother on motorcycles, horses, snowmobiles, and four wheelers. It created a love for all things fast and a love for the outdoors that Adam held until his dying day.
Adam's love and excitement for life was contagious to all he met. He made friends with ease and could easily charm even the hardest soul. He was always quick to crack a joke and spread joy as he walked this earth. Adam was the life of the party and will be sorely missed by all who were lucky enough to be invited.
Adam is survived by his loving wife of eight years, Summer Andersen of Idaho Falls, and his three beautiful children, Dash (6), Atlas (3), and Lake (2 months); his devoted mother, Noreen Andersen of Idaho Falls; and his two doting older sisters, Teri Tengaio of Idaho Falls (Kai, Kenzi, and Koda) and Tracy Anderson of Pocatello.
He is preceded in death by his best friend, his rock, and his father, Ed Wayne Andersen.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, January 22, 2018, at the Idaho Falls LDS Mesa Building, 2545 Mesa Street, with Bishop Jason Blundell of the Bridgewater Ward officiating. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 5-7 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road, and Monday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services at the church.
Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.woodfuneralhome.com.
