Bryan Scott Dahmer
September 12, 1959 - January 7, 2016
Bryan Scott Dahmer 56 passed away Jan. 7th 2016 at his home from complications to MS and Diabetes.
He was born Sept. 12th 1959 in Pocatello Idaho to Gary and Geniel Dahmer. Bryan was the second child and only son with four sisters who he truly adored, as they did him. He was raised and educated in Pocatello and graduated from Poky High in 1978.
Over the years he worked for the Union Pacific Railroad, AMI and Nicholas Trucking.
As a young boy Bryan enjoyed and excelled at many sports and was a natural athlete. His true passion in life was the outdoors. Over the years he become an exceptional hunter and had an eagle eye for spotting game, which made him an amazing marksman. He loved to camp and fish with his friends and family.
Bryan married Rae Lowe and to that union they had 2 treasured sons Ryan and Brandon Dahmer, they were later divorced. Brian loved his boys with all his heart, spending time camping, hunting, fishing and skiing with them. In 2012 he was blessed with his first grandson Tallen Scott Dahmer.
Bryan loved and enjoyed spending time with his family. This past Thanksgiving was truly special being able to spend some memorable time in Island Park. The bond he shared with his family was truly special and will never be unbroken.
Bryan is preceded in death by his Grandparents Ernest and Martha Lee Dahmer, Charles and Elsie Stewart and his beloved nephew Jason Dykman. He is survived by his sons Ryan (Biancu Arrizon) Dahmer, Brandon (Bridgette) Dahmer, Grandson Talen Dahmer, Mother and Father, Gary Dahmer, Geniel Dahmer, sisters Mary Ann Dykman, Sherry (Kelly) Murdock, Lori (Leonard) Walker, Kathy (Tom) Hensley and many nieces and nephews.
He will be deeply missed by all his family.
The family would like to give special thanks to Dan Salley for watching over Bryan these last several years.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Tuesday Jan. 12th at Downard Funeral Home at 241 North Garfield. Family will receive guest an hour prior to service.
