Colleen Haviland Obituary

Colleen Bingham Haviland
GRACE - Colleen Bingham Haviland, 70, of Grace, Idaho, passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2011, in St. George, Utah, after a courageous battle with breast cancer.
She was born April 1, 1940, in Clarkston, Utah, to Vereen and Ruby Bingham. She was the second of four children. She attended school at Westside High.
Colleen married Dennis Jessop and had three children, Don (deceased), David and Cindy, her only daughter. They were later divorced.
She then married Don Noble and they had a son, Kelly. Don passed away in 1980.
Colleen and Don bought the Grace Lounge in 1968, which she owned and operated for 40 years. Colleen held many benefits and huge dinners when someone needed help. There would be a pool tournament, darts or even horseshoes. She made a lot of money to help many people.
Colleen married Gary Haviland in 1987. He passed away December 1996.
Colleen enjoyed camping, dancing, traveling, golf, pool, darts, cards, and just life itself but most of all, laughing with friends. She has spent the last four winters in Beaver Dam, Arizona, where she made a whole new family of friends.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Don Noble and Gary Haviland, one son, Don Wayne Jessop, her parents, Vereen and Ruby Bingham. She is survived by a son, David and Lynette Jessop, Cindy and Kim Spencer and Kelly Noble, all of Grace, Idaho. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, two brothers, Wayne and Marcella Bingham of Weston, Idaho, Larry and Kathy Bingham of St. George, Utah; and a sister, Kathleen Durfee of Pocatello, Idaho.

The family will visit with friends on Friday evening from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Sims Funeral Home in Soda Springs and on Saturday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Niter Chapel prior to services. Burial will be in the Grace Cemetery.

Cindy, David and Kelly - Colleen was a thougtful supporter of others. She will be missed. I only met her when I was younger and won't say I think she knew me or I her well; but I do appreciate her commitment to help and serve. She is family always.

You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Hugs and love,
