POCATELLO - Creighton Lloyd Checketts, 30, passed away April 24, 2009, in Pocatello, Idaho. He was born May 3, 1978, in Logan, Utah, to Thomas Craig and Shelley Greaves Checketts. He grew up and was educated in Hyrum, Utah. After high school, he moved to Pocatello and attended Idaho State University for 10 years. He received several degrees in computer programming, networking and sociology. He always had a love for computers. He was an avid snowboarder. He also loved the outdoors, rock climbing, hiking, mountain biking and camping. He had a wonderful sense of humor and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his son, Dallin Lucas Roach of Franklin, Idaho; his father, Thomas Craig (Julie) Checketts of Eden, Utah; his mother, Shelley Greaves Checketts of Logan, Utah; a sister, Sheraton (Caleb) Baker of Mendon, Utah; a brother, Carson Clair Checketts of Nibley, Utah; a grandfather, Alan W. (Colleen) Greaves of Rupert, Idaho; a grandmother, Joyce Rindlisbaker Greaves of Preston, Idaho; a niece, Kylee; and three nephews, Dillon, Constantine and Brighton. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lloyd Sylvester and Elsie Greaves Checketts. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2009, at noon in the Preston, Idaho, Cemetery.
