Dennis Adam Knoblick
POCATELLO - Dennis Adam Knoblick, 53, of Pocatello, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2009, at his home following complications due to knee surgery. He was born August 5, 1955, in Pocatello, the son of Otto and Jeanette Coon
Knoblick.
As a child, he grow up in American Falls until third grade, then moved to Pocatello with his family. He attended Greenacres Elementary, Franklin Jr. High, and graduated from Pocatello High school in 1973. After high school, Dennis joined the United States Army and was stationed in Germany. He received a honorable discharged in
1977.
Dennis married Debra Thompson in October 1977 in Grace, Idaho. Debra and Dennis had one daughter, Lorelei, during their marriage. They later divorced.
He was a self taught mechanic and was an excellent carpenter. Dennis was employed at Mobil Auto, Memorial Vaults, Brennan Construction where he was working at the time of his death. Dennis had a way of making you laugh and also a story to tell. He greatly enjoyed woodworking and fishing.
He is survived by his daughter, Lorelei K. Bollinger, Clifton, Idaho; three sisters, Colleen Shackelford, Spokane, Washington; Jean (Ken) Harris, Pocatello, Idaho; Judy (Paul) Deffinger, Pocatello, Idaho; three grandchildren, Trenten, Amara, Justine. He was preceded in death by his parents.  
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2009, at 1 p.m. at Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel, 510 N. 12th Ave. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel and on Tuesday one hour prior to services. Military rites will be provided by the Pocatello Veteran Honor Guard.
