Diana Dawn Ratcliff
MOSCOW - Diana Dawn Ratcliff, 47, of Moscow, died June 16, 2009, in Coeur d'Alene following a lengthy illness.
She was born May 30, 1962, in New Orleans to Gene and Sylvia Ratcliff. Diana grew up in Pocatello, graduating from Pocatello High School, where she was active on the debate team. She attended the University of Idaho and the University of Washington.
Diana worked as a paralegal in Seattle and later managed a motel in Cle Elum. She returned to the Moscow area in 2000, where she met Steven Sobotta. Their daughter, Dawn-Rose, was born in 2001. Dawn-Rose was the light of her mother's life. Diana gave her daughter the gifts of love, kindness and joy in learning about everything.
Diana is survived by Dawn-Rose and Steven of Cul de Sac; her father and stepmother, Gene and Judy Ratcliff of Hayden; her mother, Sylvia Ratcliff of Pocatello; sister, Shannon Ratcliff of Jersey City, N.J., and a brother, John Ratcliff of Pocatello.
There will be no services at this time.
