Jeffrey Lynn Anderson, 57, of Aberdeen, Idaho passed away Saturday, August 16, 2014 at his home from cancer.
He was born May 7, 1957 in American Falls, Idaho to Earl H. Anderson and Ruby Marie Parsons Anderson.
He attended school in Aberdeen and graduated from Aberdeen High School in 1975.
On April 11, 1980, he married Lyona Lee Oman. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on July 1, 1981.
He was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served where ever and what ever he was called to do.
Jeff worked for Wahlen Farms for many years and most recently worked for Silverline Custom as a professional applicator.
He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, riding four-wheelers, watching all sports, especially the local high school sports, playing baseball, bowling, scenic drives, spending time with family and grandkids.
He is survived by his wife, Lyona of Aberdeen; children, Travis Anderson of Pocatello, ID, Eric Anderson of Williston, ND, Jennifer (Tyler) Beck of Aberdeen, ID, Sarah Anderson of Pocatello, ID and Rachel (Cody) Ferguson of Pocatello, ID; siblings, Sue Frisk, Doug (Rosa) Anderson, Mike (Becky) Anderson, Dallen (Vicki) Anderson, Tammy Irvine, Connie Anderton and brothers-in-law, Jim Nilsson and Philip Davis, mother-in-law Lila Christiansen; five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Earl and Ruby Anderson, siblings, Earline Nilsson, Barry Anderson, Luana Davis, Vicki Anderson, brother-in-law Richard Frisk and father-in-law, Gary Oman.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 22, 2014, at the Aberdeen LDS Church with Bishop Darren Hall of the Aberdeen 2nd ward conducting.
The family will meet with friends on Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Hawker Funeral Home at 132 S. Shilling Ave. in Blackfoot, and again on Friday at the Church for an hour prior to services.
Interment will be in the Aberdeen Cemetery. Condolences can be sent to the family at [email protected]

I will always remember the good times with Jeff. We had a lot of fun when I first started high school. He would come over and say he was at big moma's house just to tease mom. We had many a pizza and church ball game to remember along with J.D.--these are the things I want to remember about Jeff. He always was smiling. My love to Lyona and all the kids. He will be missed.
