Stephen Michael "Mike" Blair
POCATELLO – Stephen Michael "Mike" Blair Sr. passed away at his home surrounded by his family, Jan, 31, 2008.
Mike was born Sept. 17, 1941, the second child of Jack and Eleanor Blair. He graduated from Pocatello High School in 1959. He attended the University of Idaho from 1959 to 1963. He then enlisted the U.S. Navy from 1963 to 1968.
Mike married Charlotte Loper in Paoli, Pa., on May 13, 1965. Following his military service, he returned to Pocatello where he worked for Kraft Foods and Union Pacific Railroad.
Mike thoroughly enjoyed hunting, skiing, and always enjoyed being in the outdoors in his younger years. He loved to go dancing and was known for his mean two-step. He was always appreciated for his quick wit and sense of humor.
Mike will be missed by all who knew him, most especially his wife, Charlotte Blair of Pocatello; sons, S. Michael (Shelly) Blair Jr. of Pocatello, and Jason Blair of Bellingham, Wash.; one daughter, Cindy (Dr. David) Allen. Escondido, Calif.; sister, Maggie (Dan) Blair of Ketchum, ID; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Eleanor Blair; sister, Jackie Pecchia; and brothers, Bruce, Robert and Tony Blair.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. The funeral arrangements have been conducted under the care of Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. Fourth Ave,
