Patricia Vandervort Obituary

Patricia Blalock Vandervort
POCATELLO - Patricia Blalock Vandervort, 70, of Pocatello, passed away Tuesday morning, November 23, 2010, at her home from an apparent heart attack.
She was born on March 9, 1940, in Pocatello to Dorothy Kirkpatrick Blalock and David B. Blalock. She attended schools in Pocatello, graduating from Pocatello High and also attending Idaho State University.
In 1960, Patricia married G.R. Rudy Yerbich and they had three children. During this time she lived as a military wife and homemaker in Virginia, California, Spain and Florida. They were later divorced.
In 1988 she married Bart Vandervort and owned a business in Nehalem, Oregon.  After selling the business they moved to Arizona and were later divorced. In 2005 Patricia returned to Pocatello to be near childhood friends and family.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, a son Tynner, her brothers, Kirk Blalock, Hugh Blalock and David Blalock. Patricia is survived by her son, Dolph Yerbich, Fort Mohave, Arizona; her daughter, Heidi Turner, Pocatello, Idaho; her brothers, Bill Blalock and Jerry Blalock both of Pocatello; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The family will gather at the Pocatello Holiday Inn, 1399 Bench Road, on Sunday, November 28, at 3 p.m.
