Patricia Walker Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patricia Dean Walker, a cherished mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She passed away peacefully on October 9, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving behind a legacy of love, creativity, and strength.

Patricia was born on October 15, 1937, to Orville and Nancy Fralick Bowers, and was raised on the family farm in American Falls, Idaho. It was there she learned the values of hard work and dedication, principles that would guide her throughout her life. In 1955, she married the love of her life, Joseph Glenn Walker, embarking on a beautiful journey of partnership and devotion that lasted for 63 years. After their wedding, the couple moved to Pocatello, Idaho, where they built a home and a life together. Pat pursued an education in bookkeeping and accounting, applying her sharp mind and meticulous nature to her professional career.

Pat's vibrant spirit shone through in her many interests. She was a familiar face on the local bowling league for many years and enjoyed the camaraderie and competition of playing on the women's softball team. Her creativity blossomed at home, where her hands were rarely still. She was a gifted artist, finding joy in the delicate brushstrokes of tole painting, the intricate stitches of her sewing projects, and the lovingly assembled pages of her scrapbooks. Each creation was a testament to the beauty she saw in the world and the precious family moments she held so dear.

Above all, Pat's greatest pride and joy was her family. She was a pillar of unwavering love and support. Her memory will be forever cherished by her survivors: her devoted daughter, Diana Walker of Twin Falls, ID; her sister, Shirley; her adoring grandson, Matthew Walker, and his wife, Vivi, of Wylie, TX; and her precious great-grandchildren, Natalie Walker, Rachael Walker, Lauren Walker, and Liam Walker, who were the light of her life.

Patricia is now reunited in eternal peace with those who went before her: her parents, Orville and Nancy Fralick Bowers; her beloved husband, Glenn; and her siblings, Ethel, Dorothy, and Robert.

A viewing will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Wilks Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Road, Twin Falls, Idaho 83301.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Falls View Cemetery, 2938 McKinley Road, American Falls, Idaho 83211.
