Rodney Linch Obituary
Those who knew him were able to see the fun joking, loving all around guy. We sometimes called him Hot Rod and still did cause he was always in a rush to get from one place to another when he was young . His smile could light up a room.
Rodney left this world on July 9, 2025 at the young age of 34. He passed away in Arizona.
Rodney was proceeded in death by lots of great grandparents, his Grandfather James Vangundy and his Grandfather Emery Linch Sr. Some aunts and uncles his stepdad Dennis Vincent.
Rodney is survived by his two children son Tyrell Linch and his daughter Trisha Linch, the mother to his children, Sam Stevens. His fiancé Kendra Davis and her two daughters. His sister's Paige Anderson, Taylor Vincent, Megan Vincent, Mackenzie(Jeffrey) Johnson and Saddie Linch. His mother Stephanie Van Gundy and his father Emery Linch Jr. His paternal grandmother Linda(Bob) Bracken and his maternal grandmother Ilene(George)Jenkins.
A little something about Hot Rod he came into this life fighting to stay alive very premature from the time he came home from the hospital. He never stopped. He never stopped growing thriving loving he touched everyone around him. He will be truly missed.
We will be having a celebration of life for Rodney at the Elks Lodge, 412 E 200 S Jerome, Idaho 83338. Saturday, August 2, 2025 at 1 PM.

I was so looking forward to seeing the life you and Kendra and the girls were going to have. The smiles you all had on your adventures were so contagious. You left a hole in their hearts that nothing will ever fill. My sweet Kendra. I know your life will never be the same without the love he gave you. I pray that you know he is always watching over you and all his kids. A kind soul like Rodney's never truly dies. He left his mark on this world with his blood born children and the marks on your children and the love he gave to you and all the love he shared with you. His family definitely made a great man. He may have had struggles in this life...but we all know that in the end....he was truly a good man and was loved. Sending love and light to this grieving family at this time of hurt. Be strong and keep moving forward.

The last years he was on this earth was with his beautiful with Kendra. When he proposed to Kendra his face glowed with love and pure happiness. He was a very loving man. He aspired to do more and be more. He was always pushing Kendra to her fullest. In all the good ways. He was a good husband to Kendra. A good man. May he rest in peace and always be watching over the ones who that saw the true him because he felt safe, comfortable and loved.
