I had the pleasure of having partnered up with Scott on many work projects since the early 2000´s. He was one of the most skilled and knowledgeable wireman I´ve ever met and Local 46 was lucky to have. His vast experience, extensive knowledge, no nonsense approach to problem solving and impeccable work was always appreciated. He had the patience of a saint to have mentored dozens of apprentices as well as having schooled a lot of green foremen.
After our respective retirement from the Electrical trade I always enjoyed visiting with him, hearing updates about his extensive family whom he adored, going to ball games with him as well as participating in various sports betting pools for fun and sometimes profit. I will miss hearing his laughter, seeing his smiling face and share in his family´s loss of a great man and friend.

My deepest sympathies for the Dykman family. I have not spoken to Scott in a long while, but it sounds like he was a great family-man, uncle, brother, and talented master electrician. Scott was a great friend to me (we met in 8th grade) and a great friend to many others in Pocatello. He was a very talented high school athlete in wrestling and baseball. He was just a lot of fun to be around at school as well as at the many off-campus festivities. I also recall Scott had a very positive outlook on life and good taste in rock music. Scott, RIP (Rock In Peace) my old friend.
