Suzanne Howell Obituary

Our dear wife, mother, and grandma returned home peacefully on March 5, 2024 surrounded by family. She was born on June 12th, 1943 in Malad, Idaho.

She was the second of seven children to Don and Helene Bosworth. She was raised in Downey, Idaho and graduated from Marsh Valley High School.

She met the love of her life in High School, Jerry Howell. Jerry and Suzanne married and would spend their years in the Pocatello area. They still love and have a special place for Marsh Valley.

She worked as a bank teller, dental receptionist, and owned a medical transcription business. Her greatest work was being a wife and mother to five children. She loved working side by side with Jerry and the children on the farm.

Suzanne lived a Christ centered life, devoted to serving and loving others. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints where she served as a Relief Society President, Young Women Leader, and many other positions. She loved the gospel and was a great example to all that knew her. She was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sibling, aunt, and friend to all.

Suzanne is survived by her husband Jerry L Howell and children Marshall (Gina) Howell (Lehi, UT), Rodney (Stephen) Howell (Tucson, AZ), Nancy (Dave) Bickley (Pocatello), LeeAnn (Tim) Campbell (Pocatello), and Lance (Amber) Howell (Pocatello). Jerry and Suzanne have 23 grandkids and 21 great grandkids. Her surviving siblings Jane Jones, Kristie Hill, and Gordon Bosworth.

Suzanne was preceded in death by her parents Don and Helene, parents in law Bert and Vilda Howell, brothers, Bryan, Claude and Ross, brother in-laws, Alex Hill and Randy Jones and her first grandson Marshall Seth Howell.

A viewing will be held on March 13th, 2024, from 7:00 -8:00 pm and again on Thursday, March 14th from 9:30 -10:30 am at 2000 South Fairway Drive, Pocatello, Idaho. The funeral is scheduled on March 14th at 11:00 am at the same location. Burial will follow at the Cambridge Cemetery in Downey, Idaho.
