Ash was one of my favorite teachers. He truly loved teaching rather than pushing you to the next class. I remember him standing at the podium, leaning close to the Mic and growling/rumbling to get our attention. It worked every time.
You will be missed, Ash!

Mr. Aschenbrenner was a wonderful biology teacher at my high school (Class of '72). One of the few teachers that inspired a student, rather than intimidating a student. Good memories of a delightful man. His teachings set a foundation for me to acquire a B.S. in Biology in later years. Thank you Sir. Comfort and Condolences offered to all his family and friends.

Dear Tom: If it weren't for you, I wouldn't have passed biology! I loved your humor. That time you rode your bike by my house and told me my flowers would come up if I watered them! Goodbye, funny prince. Mercy Nelson '86

Tom and I were part of a biology team teaching group at Pocatello High School in the late 1970s, along with Gary Buchli and Gary Miller. Tom was a terrific guy, a good teacher and friend. Sad to see him depart, but that is something that awaits us all.
My sympathy to his son Joe, brother Paul, and other members of his family.
