Alice Johnstone Yingst

October 25, 1933 - March 9, 2025

Boise, Idaho - Alice A. Johnstone was born on October 25, 1933 in Jerome, Idaho. She joined her parents Florence and Aubrey Johnstone and her older brother, Dale.

Alice grew up in Jerome, helping on the family farms. She attended school in Jerome, then business school in Twin Falls.

She married Donovan Yingst on August 28, 1955. They lived in Boise, Portland and Anchorage for Don's work. Following both of their retirements, they moved back to Boise, and then Meridian.

Don passed away August 2, 2017. Alice lived with her daughter, Susan and grandson, Michael in Boise, until her death.

She is survived by her daughter Patti (Ron) Cline in Ellensburg, Washington, her daughter Susan, grandson's Michael, Clinton (Brittney), and Thomas (Tracie) Wyllie. Alice also is survived by her great grandchildren Sawyer, Conner, Calder and Lilyann.

Services will be in Jerome, Idaho at a later date.
