Bradley Abbe Obituary

The Lord took Brad home on Saturday April 4, 2009 near College Station, Tex. He passed away from injuries sustained in an auto accident while traveling to a bull riding. He was 21 years old. Brad was born on June 11, 1987 in Boise, Idaho to David and April Abbe. He spent most of his life in the Treasure Valley. As a teen and young adult he spent a great deal of time in Sweet, Idaho at the most loved place he knew, "The Last Chance Ranch." The Lord put Brad on this earth to be a cowboy. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, roping and riding. He was a talented horse trainer but his first love was bull riding. Brad won many awards and honors riding bulls, riding broncs and team roping. Brad was a member of the Idaho District II High School Rodeo Assoc., The Idaho Cowboys Assoc., and was a 2008 team member of the Southwestern Oklahoma State University Rodeo Team. Brad loved little children, horses, rodeos, his family and friends from coast to coast, which we can not begin to count. He always had a dog by his side and had a special love for his border collie "Miss Kate". Brad was a free spirit who loved life and lived everyday to the fullest as he believed that when his time was up the Lord would come get him and take him home. Brad will be deeply missed forever and ever by his family and friends. He always had a story to tell (usually about bull riding) and there was never a lack of conversation when he was in the room. Brad is survived by the love of his life Kenna Lynn Muchow, parents David Abbe, Douglas and April Moats, sisters Heather Kime, Cheryl Padilla and husband Brian; Kimberlee Kuhlman and husband Travis; brother Matthew Abbe, grandparents Ken Abbe, Josie Abbe, Jim Abbe, Virginia Abbe, Thomas Guinard, Larry and Karen Moats, along with many uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins. Brad was also a part of two more special families Todd, Nan, Brittney and Paige Edmindson, and Devon, Sue, Keri, Kenna and Chase Muchow. Family and friends can say good bye to Bradley on Friday April 10, 2009 from 4 until 8 p.m. at the Potter Funeral Chapel 228 E. Main St. in Emmett. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday April 11, 2009 at the Emmett Middle School Auditorium 301 E. 4th Street in Emmett. Burial will follow at the Sweet Cemetery in Sweet, Idaho. A reception and celebration of Brad's life will be held after the graveside service at the Last Chance Ranch 7225 Butte Rd. in Sweet, Idaho.

Dear Family,

"Live life to the fullest and have no regrets. Those are the last words I said to Brad. He had come to Daniel's rodeo in Mtn Home and he sat with me and we reminisced about Daniel and all the fun those two had at rodeos and at Todd & Nan's.

You are all in our thoughts a prayers.

Our Prayers are with you. As the mother of two bullriders I cannot even imagine your loss. We had the Great Pleasure of meeting Brad as our family traveled from NC to the National High School Finals this past summer. We had heard all Jake's stories and it was very nice to put a faces with the names. Brad Lived Life To The Fullest and Was GREAT At What He Loved. What a Blessing, and We have all been blessed to have known HIM!

What a great kid!! I remember when my daughter Alisse was in High School Rodeo with you and you were talking to me in the stands about bull riding (I was glad I was the mother of a barrell racer!) You helped me understand your passion for the sport and I will remember you that way. I was priveledged to have those talks with you! We will all miss you.
