I just found out today that Chris passed away. We worked together from 2014-2016 as he was my manager with Lincoln Heritage. I remember Chris as a deep thinker who had a lot of wisdom. Like myself, he would use sports analogies in talking about our profession selling life insurance. I also remember him talking about how he could take new puppies and learn their personalities and determine if they would be good bird dogs or not. It was a great analogy for recruiting and training new insurance agents. He was a good guy whom I'd hoped to run into again someday. Sincere condolences to Lisa, son Christopher and the rest of the family.

Chris Burell, a man's man, a renaissance man, an all-around good & decent human being. I think that we are all in a state of shock at the loss. The loss of a man that was larger than life & one that most of us assumed would outlive the vast majority of us. The cadence of your stories, that smile with that mischievous twinkle in your eye, your wit & your sincerity, are all memories that will not be forgotten. We are thankful for the memories & thankful that we have the "Old Ball & Chain" to remind us of your antics. Chris undoubtedly left a legacy to be proud of & while Kenny & I are unable to attend the Idaho Celebration, we look forward to October in the hopes that we can assist in a Celebration here in Bakersfield among those that watched him grow from a boy in to the man that we all knew & loved. Oh, the irony, as we all approach the autumn of our lives, Chris once again beat us to the punch. He wins again. We lose.

Boo Boo Burrell as he was affectionately known by all his 08er friends will be truly missed. He was always humorous, always kind, a genuinely good person! I am both honored & blessed to have had him as a friend. So until we meet again.. in the words of the mighty Merle Haggard; you've got a friend in California that sure misses you❤.

Chris was our neighbor for over 25 years, we built our homes the same year. We had as families so many BBQs and get togethers you couldnt count.
Chris took me hunting long after I had hung it up and we made our trips very memorable for sure.
I think about Chris a lot and miss him more , he was a great friend and neighbor for sure. Miss you my friend
