Clinton Emory Obituary

Clinton Paul Emory July 30, 1958-July 25, 2012 Clint was born in Council, Idaho to Don and Vonnie Emory. He graduated from Borah High School in 1976 and went on to attended L.S.U and the U of I seeking a degree in Forestry. While at U of I Clint was a member of Sigma Chi. Clint passed away at home with his family nearby after a three month illness. Clint started his working career with the Southern Idaho Protective Timber Association in Smith Ferry, Idaho. After nine years, living and working in primitive conditions, he returned to Boise. He then worked as a warehouse manager of a wholesale florist company and later a wholesale builder's supply company. He married Jennifer Carpenter in 1993, and though the marriage ended, they had a beautiful daughter together, Piper Renea Emory. Piper has been the great joy of his life. Clint truly enjoyed the family cabins at Lowman and he spent as much time as possible fishing, and hunting with friends and family. He always had a positive attitude and was always available if you needed help. Clint also had an amazing mathematical ability along with a beautiful singing voice, which few people knew about. Clint is survived by his parents, Don and Vonnie Emory of Boise, Idaho, his daughter Piper, currently in Australia, brother Steve Emory of LaGrande, Oregon, brother Stan Emory, his wife Sarah and children Matt and Joni of Dry Creek, Louisiana, brother Jeff Emory, his wife Jessicia and children Cami, Tabitha, Brooke and Joshua of Boise, Idaho, and sister-in-law Rose Emory and her daughter Susan of Twin Falls. Clint was preceded in death two years ago by his oldest brother Wayne. He leaves behind many good friends, some from his grade school years. Due to his request, he was cremated and a memorial celebration will be held at a later date. Clint's family would like to express our thanks to the St. Luke's Hospice team for the loving, compassionate care we all received during his illness.
