Dale Kramer Obituary
1949 ~ 2018
Dale Edgar Kramer, 68, passed away at his home February 17, 2018, surrounded by family and friends following a long battle with cancer. He was born in Detroit, MI, to Irwin and Gladys M. Kramer and graduated from Lake Superior State College with a BS in Electrical Engineering. Dale had a successful career as an electrical engineer spanning many years, which included Morrison-Knudsen and Maida Engineering in Boise, a partner at Power Engineers in Hailey, ID, and Commonwealth Associates in Jackson, MI. Dale retired in 2016.
He is survived by his spouse Marilyn, son Daniel, granddaughter Kaylie, brother Robert (Ohio), sister Arlean (Michigan), along with nieces and nephews. Dale's family and friends will long remember his amazing gift of storytelling of all his many life's adventures. His hobbies included golf, fishing, racquetball, football, and love for his favorite Boise State Broncos.
The family wishes to thank Belinda Jacobsen of Nuclear Care Partners for her tender, loving care over the past year and a half. The family also expresses gratitude to the Huntsman Cancer Institute, Dr. Sborov, Heidi Nielson and staff at the University of Utah, as well as Dr. Langerak and staff at St. Alphonsus Cancer Care Center.
Following a private family memorial service, a celebration of Dale's life will be held at a later time in May, the place and date to be announced.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a charitable donation be made to one of the following organizations: Huntsman Cancer Institute at give.huntsmancancer.org, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society at donate.lls.org, or Abode Hospice at 2090 S. Eagle Rd., Meridian, ID 83642.
