Daniel R. Burrow Nov. 7, 1965 - Aug. 30, 2011 Daniel R. Burrow, 45 of Nampa, ID passed away August 30,2011. Dan was born November 7, 1965 to Don and Theresa Burrow. He grew up in the Nampa area and graduated from Nampa High School in 1984 throughout his youth and young adult life he competed in rodeo. He competed in Little Britches, High School Rodeo and the Idaho Cowboys Association. He competed in 5 events but his true passion was Bull Riding At the age of 13 he won his first All Around title in Union, Oregon. A proud family accomplishment was when Dan and his cousins Shawn and Mike won the Wild Horse Race at both the Caldwell Night Rodeo and Homedale Rodeo in 1986. He joined the Navy in 1987 and served in Desert Storm until 1991. In 1992 he met the love of his life Christy Taylor and they were married in 1994. Their first beautiful daughter Courtney was born in 1995, soon followed by another beautiful daughter Brittney in 1997. He worked for various welding shops in the Treasure Valley until he became self-employed in 1998. He truly enjoyed welding and loved the challenges. One of his famous sayings was "there isn't a butt crack I can't weld up". He loved hunting and fishing but his real love was his three girls, Christy, Courtney and Brittney. He loved watching his daughters grow up. Christy always felt like she was raising 3 kids instead of 2. He was so much a kid himself. He is survived by his wife Christy, daughters Courtney and Brittney, his Mother Theresa Anderson of Nampa, his Father Don Burrow of Donnelly, Idaho, his Sister Tracy and her husband Mark Rowley, Grandmother Maxine Burrow He was preceded in death by his Grand Parents, Virgil Burrow, Donald and Evelyn Hay. There will be a viewing at Alsip Funeral Chapel, 404 10th Ave S. in Nampa on Friday, September 2, 2011 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A memorial service will be held at Deer Flat Free Methodist Church, 17703 Beet Road, Caldwell, Idaho at 1:00 pm, Saturday September 3, 2011.
