David Allert Obituary

David Charles Allert
1960 - 2015
On September 24, 2015, David C. Allert died in an auto accident in Nampa, Idaho.
Dave was born on December 21, 1960 in Ritzville, WA and was the youngest son of DeWayne and Pat (Giles) Allert. His brothers and sisters: Paul Allert, Diane Deschamp, Mark Allert and Linda Scoles; are mourning this untimely loss of their little brother.
The Allert family sunk their roots in Moscow, Idaho where Dave attended all twelve years of his education. He graduated from Moscow High School in 1979 where he was active in sports and community events.
Dave married the love of his life, Brenda "Kris" Lyons, in Moscow on September 14, 1985. They had just celebrated their 30th Anniversary of a beautifully shared life of love and commitment.
Together, they have three beautiful children; Chelsea (Williams), Cerra and Cameron. Devin Ritchie, who has been with them since early childhood, completes their close family circle. They are all with each other at the family home in Meridian, ID as they comfort and struggle with the sudden loss of their father. Chelsea and her husband PJ are raising their two boys, Jacoby and Jaren, in Kuna, ID and expecting another child soon. They miss their "Ba-Ba" very much.
In their bereavement, the family is so thankful and appreciative for all the kind thoughts, happy anecdotes and sincere well-wishes extended by all those that knew their Dave. He loved life and expressed it in so many ways to and through his family and others. He will be missed in so many big and little ways, forever…
The whole family wish our husband, father, brother, son and friend a timeless eternity of happiness beyond his earthly treasures. Dave will always be loved in our hearts and we hope that his life's light will always inspire and guide our daily lives. We were lucky to be with him.
A commemoration and celebration of his Big & Shining life will be held on Thursday, October 1st at 11:00am in the Cloverdale Funeral Chapel; 1200 N Cloverdale Road, Boise, ID.

I just read about Dave's passing. I was so shocked to read he passed away. I went all through school with Dave and lived a couple of blocks away from the Lyon's when they were in Moscow. RIP Dave. Kris and family, please know you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Dave made a big difference in my life. I met Dave in grade school. We were great friends in J-high and high-school and even then he stood out among boys as a man of loyalty and character.

He invited me to Cda lake with his family countless times and taught me to drive a boat and water ski. I recall hanging out around Moscow. We learned how to drive together on the back roads around down when we were about 14.

Dave always had my back. He stood up for me when I needed it and was a great football player. Even though I had lost track of him in recent years, I will miss him. Thanks for the great memories Dave.

Dave's Big smile will be in our hearts forever. That is the first thing we knew we'd miss about him. He has been an amazing Uncle to our kids, and a wonderful brother-in-law to us. He touched the lives of more people then he realized, being such a great help to my Mom & Sis after we left Idaho. We will miss him forever, and remember him always. Wish I was there with Scott, Reece & Madison as you celebrate his life.

Dave and I worked together at the Moscow TV Cable Co. back in the 80s. He was such a kind, caring, gentle man. He was a groomsman in my wedding and great friends with my husband at the time. I lost contact with Dave but did think about him now and again, wondering where he was and how Kris and he were doing. I am thinking and praying for Kris and the family, and also his dad Dewayne.
