I just read about Dave's passing. I was so shocked to read he passed away. I went all through school with Dave and lived a couple of blocks away from the Lyon's when they were in Moscow. RIP Dave. Kris and family, please know you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Dave made a big difference in my life. I met Dave in grade school. We were great friends in J-high and high-school and even then he stood out among boys as a man of loyalty and character.
He invited me to Cda lake with his family countless times and taught me to drive a boat and water ski. I recall hanging out around Moscow. We learned how to drive together on the back roads around down when we were about 14.
Dave always had my back. He stood up for me when I needed it and was a great football player. Even though I had lost track of him in recent years, I will miss him. Thanks for the great memories Dave.

Dave's Big smile will be in our hearts forever. That is the first thing we knew we'd miss about him. He has been an amazing Uncle to our kids, and a wonderful brother-in-law to us. He touched the lives of more people then he realized, being such a great help to my Mom & Sis after we left Idaho. We will miss him forever, and remember him always. Wish I was there with Scott, Reece & Madison as you celebrate his life.

Dave and I worked together at the Moscow TV Cable Co. back in the 80s. He was such a kind, caring, gentle man. He was a groomsman in my wedding and great friends with my husband at the time. I lost contact with Dave but did think about him now and again, wondering where he was and how Kris and he were doing. I am thinking and praying for Kris and the family, and also his dad Dewayne.
