Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always. 1 Corinthians 15:20-28

I remember Dave as a good friend. He and Jon visited their grandmother Ruby in Eagle often, and we dug tunnels, played war and enjoyed each others company. I visit "Grandma McDowell's" grave a few times a year in the Star Cemetery and remember her and "uncle Tuffy" (Harold) and his father Charles fondly. Best wishes to all the McDowells and sympathy in this time of sorrow.

Dave was one of my best friends through jr high and high school.
I first met met him in 1982 at Spunky's arcade he continued to be my close friend until we fell out of touch as I got married and life went on. He was a little older than I so he was a pretty cool friend to have in high school. We enjoyed working on our cars together and going for drives in the highlands talking about how we would be rich one day and live in one of those big houses, driving up to spring shores and hanging out at the park on Sundays. I always felt very safe around him, he was my comfort and always there when I needed him. My senior year I asked him to my senior prom, we were friends so it was just fun! He was so funny folding my great big hoop skirt into his fancy little bug. He wasn't a really fancy guy, so after prom we hit the drive through at BK and then to the Train tressells best prom dinner ever! The prom picture still hangs on my Mom's wall.
He was the best guy friend a girl could have ever had!
The last time I talked to him was 2004, he talked about his daughter's and how they meant the world to him. They were living in Montana and how he missed them. I never met them, but I hope they know how lucky they are to have had a Dad so loving and proud of them.
RIP Dave, I will always remember you
