I am so sad, I went to google David to reconnect. It has been about 1 year since we spoke and I am missing his kind, gentle words. David was a wonderful friend and will never be forgotten.

Thank you for the wonderful memorial for David. The picture up front in the church was the David I will always remember. He was a wonderful friend, and his hugs meant everything. My condolences to all who knew him He is missed.

My memories of David from high school are of a young man with many gifts: kindness, sense of humor, intelligence, good looks, creativeness, and a zest for life. We had a great year in student council and shared a lot of laughter. I went to one of his aerobics classes years later in Seattle by accident, not knowing he was the instructor. He was awesome and totally in his element! I am so sorry for all the pain he suffered in the last years of his life. I am very thankful that he was blessed with such a loving family and friends who cared for him and shared the difficult journey with him. My prayers are with all of you.

Thank you for the beautiful tribute to David. That boy was the bright light of my Jr. High and High School years, a dear friend whose talent and charm I admired greatly. It was a heartbreak indeed to lose contact with him, more so to learn that his life had become so difficult. I send you prayers for comfort and peace, and all my love. Mere words can't express the sorrow I feel in David's passing. Even when he was no longer my brother in law, he was still the brother I held in my heart and will forever hold in my heart. Dear, sweet David. You will be missed by so many and loved forever.

Ahhhh Dave. Sweet kind one. Now you are at peace with the other angels. They are so lucky to have you with them. You always were too good for this world. Too wise. Too sensitive. You raised the bar for a lot of us. You carried a lot on your back. You held the hand of so many & let them lead you through their darkest fears while you witnessed. You were always generous that way. Or maybe it was your rite of passage. Probably some of both. I didn't know you were sick. Or maybe I missed the clues. I hope it was just me. I hope you didn't suffer in silence. Your smile & your laugh, especially your laugh are forever in my heart. You always had the best & the most infectious laugh. I love you dear friend. I was so sorry to learn of Dave's passing, and I will always treasure the sweetest memories of him. I am a better person because of Dave being on this earth with me. My family and I were saddened to hear about David’s passing but we know he is at rest in a better place. As your former next door neighbor I had the pleasure to spend lots of time with both David and Brian and the adventures with the Sherrets boys are some of my best childhood memories. David was a good friend and he will be missed.

David was an inspiration to me in my quest to master the choreography of aerobics. He had the best taste in music, and his routines were challenging, as well as, uplifting! I always left his classes on a high note. He was greatly missed when he left Pro-robics, just as he is missed now. It was my pleasure to know him. My condolences to all who knew him.

My memories of David are from High school. We went to several dances together and I have the picture of us at a 10th grade "Reminiscing" dance on my desk now in remembrance. He was a dear, sweet person that I so enjoyed. May your family and Dave find peace in this difficult time. Know that so many people have such fond memories...

I have many fond memories of Dave from our years at Capital High School... working on service projects in Key Club, singing together in various choirs, and putting on crazy skits at school assemblies. He was a truly bright light and friend to everyone. We will honor his spirit when we gather for our 30-year class reunion this coming summer. He will be greatly missed.
