I was saddened to hear about Dean. Jerry McConnell an old friend passed on the news to me. Dean and I we're roomates back in 74 - 76. Dean was a great guy and we had some great times back in the day. I'm sorry that I never stayed in touch with him and Jill over the years. He always had that big smile and laugh.

Dear Jill,Josh and Adam,
Roger and I are saddened to hear of your loss of Dean because we know what a hole it will leave in your life. It's a relief to know he isn't suffering any more, but it's almost unbearable to think of not being with him for an indefinite length of time. Time does eventually soften the blow and looking back often, through our memories, remembering the wonderful man he was and appreciate the time we had with him. I'll always remember his gentleness, quick smile, and the love he had for you, Josh and Adam. Please know that we are thinking of you and hoping that you will find comfort and peace as the days go by. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
With love,
Roger and Donna Scharfen
