Dorothy Hill Pattan died peacefully at home surrounded by family on November 9, 2016 in Boise, Idaho at the age of 82. Dorothy is survived by 4 children: Kenneth Pattan and his wife, Vicky, of Boise; Beverley Pattan of Boise; Ronda Pattan Beimel and her husband, Ron, of Pennsylvania; Roger Pattan and his wife, Tara, of Boise; and a sister, Evelyn, and her husband, Edgar, of Caldwell. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Pattan; her sister, Helen Mitchell; her brother, Cecil Hill; and her parents, Clarence and Ada Hill.
Dorothy was born on April 14, 1934 in Nampa, Idaho to Clarence and Ada Hill. She married Clyde Pattan on February 22, 1959 in Nampa. After moving to Boise, Dorothy began working for Avon and St. Luke's, where she retired after 25 years. Over the years, she welcomed 8 grandchildren: Dustin, Kendra, Tanisha, Austin Pattan and Briana of Boise as well as Ron, Sarah and Tim Beimel of Pennsylvania. Dorothy's children remember her as a generous, loving person who loved to take walks, loved her pets and who encouraged her family members to pursue their dreams.
A viewing is scheduled for Monday, November 14, 2016 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Bowman Funeral Parlor, Boise, with a graveside service on November 15 at 2:00 p.m. at Dry Creek Cemetery, Boise.
