Dorothy Sterling Obituary

Dec. 14, 1930 - March 14, 2006 Dorothy was a devoted wife, mother, grandma, and great- grandma; who fought a long, hard, courageous battle with cancer. Dorothy will be missed dearly by all who were touched by her love. The family would like to thank Dr. Norman Zuckerman, the loving team at St Lukes Mountain States Tumor Institute (MSTI) and the St Lukes Hospice nurses. Donations may be made to MSTI or St Lukes Hospice in Dorothy's name.

I would like to thank MSTI, St Lukes Hospice for the compassionate and professional care. Also thank you for the kind words of condolence from our friends and co-workers and for the generous contribution to MSTI made in memory of Dorothy by my co-wokers at the State Controllers Office.

What a fitting memorial to a wonderful woman.

I would also like to say my personal thanks to MSTI and the nurses of St. Luke's Hospice who dealt with my Grandma and our family. Hospice is wonderful service and the nurses were our "angels". Right to the end, my Grandma was teaching us how to live (and die) with grace, courage and dignity. She is a beautiful soul who I will miss immensely.

I love you Grandma.

I would like to thank everyone who has sent flowers or made any donations to Mountain States Tumor Institute (MSTI) in Boise on Our Mothers behalf. The Love and Concern that has been shown is so Greatly Appreciated. Our Mother was not only a Loving Wife, Mother and Grand-mother, but touched everyone who she came in contact with. She will be sorely missed.

I Love You Mom.
