Emery Whitney LeTourneau

Emery Whitney LeTourneau, 84, of Nampa passed away on August 20, 2018 at his home. Emery was born May 19, 1934 in Lawrence, Massachusetts to the late Alphee and Elizabeth (Cummings) LeTourneau.
Emery graduated from Essex Co. Agricultural Tech, and he began his work experience as a tree surgeon while also serving in the US Army Reserves. From tree surgeon, he changed course and began a lengthy career in autobody mechanics and rounded out his later work years as a welder. He and his wife retired to Idaho in 2003.
Of his many hobbies, he was most passionate about woodworking, fishing, hunting, traveling, and his vegetable gardens.
Surviving Emery are his wife of 46 years, Louise; children: Linda (Mark) Perz, Scott (Paula) LeTourneau, and Wendy (James) Kirk; stepchildren: Renée Maybee, Maureen (Matthew) Papi, and Christopher Coyle; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters: Myrtle Robinson and Lois (William) Westburg; several nieces and nephews; and many dear friends. He was predeceased by his brother, Clifton; two sisters: Geraldine and Ethel; half-sister, Lydianna; and granddaughter, Miranda.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 7th at Holy Apostles Catholic Church, 6300 N. Meridian Rd. in Meridian. Remembrances may be left for the family at www.AccentFuneral.com. Services are under the direction of Accent Funeral Home and Cremation. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Emery's name to Harrisons Hope Hospice, 3137 S Meridian Rd #120, Meridian, ID 83642.
