I will always remember Gabe as a great and true friend in the very unique/intense environment of architectural education. At the MSU School of Architecture we worked hard and it was Gabe's infectious enthusiasm for that work as much as the rare occasion to play that I will miss most.
We collaborated on a couple of projects and I really enjoyed the academic as well as the comedic rigor that Gabe incorporated into the work. Even during long spells at the drafting table Gabe would find ways of making you smile.
Travelling wth Gabe to Europe as well as Seattle, Portland, and Miami was pure enjoyment. There was rarely a dull moment or lack of activity when Gabe was present.
After school our paths did not cross nearly as often as I now wished that they had.
I offer my deepest sympathy to your family. Gabe, you will be greatly missed.

As a colleague of Gabe's at Montana State, I remember him as a talented and dedicated designer, respected by all his peers and as an athlete always coming in to work in studio after skiing, biking or some other adventure. Gabe was in integral part of our class and will be greatly missed by all the communities of which he was a part. Please accept my deepest sympathy...

Gabe,
I am grateful that we were able to work on the architectural competition together. The award we won is dedicated to you, because it would not have happened without you. I deeply admire your skill and imagination. Thank you for your contribution to many of our lives in Portland.

To Gabe’s Mother and Father,
You should know that your son was greatly respected and loved by his friends. Your son’s humor and smile were infectious. It was always a delight to look up from some task at work and see him. We are truly sorry for your loss and grieve with you.

I always told you that you were the jelly on my PB&J…my sandwiches will never be the same. You meant the world to me and there was nothing that would ever take what we had away. I will always remember that cute smile that I woke up to every morning…..Echo (the monster) and I will always be thinking of the man who changed our lives and the best friend that will NEVER be replaced.

Gabe,
I had so much fun with you tossing design ideas back and forth till late at night, playing sports together, and just having good conversations over coffee. I am not happy, though, that you didn't give me another chance to beat you on the basketball court. Yes, you were a super athletic stud, and I am going to miss you very very much.

Gabriel Mack Family,

My deepest thoughts are with all of you. It was a pleasure working with Gabe during his time at Sienna.

Dear Heavenly Father,

I would like to lift up the Gabriel Mack Family today and bless them with these words of prayer. Lord, these are Your people and we know many have grown weary along the way, but today I pray that the weariness will lift from them and You will send a time of refreshing to them - spirit, soul and body. Lord, encourage them with Your Spirit. I don't know all the needs but You do.
Bless them with health, finances, direction, strength, wisdom, love and the things that are needful at this time. Lord, may You heal any problems in their homes, outside families and friends. Give them revelation from on High. May they hear Your voice. Restore the joy of their salvation to those who are laboring without a rejoicing heart. Father, may the joy of the Lord flood over them and help them to make it through this time with newness of heart and spirit. May God and his heavenly Angles surround and cover this family, all the days of this earth. I pray for them in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen!

My Dear Precious Gabriel...
Some people come into our lives and quickly go. You came into my life for just 31 years, leaving your footprint on my heart, and I will never, ever be the same.
YOU will journey with me... always always!
I am sending you Love and Light...

Gabe,
From our initial meetings at Sienna Architecture to the times that you spent with Lindsay and the rest of our family, it was clear that you were a special person. Your love of your family and of people in general really came through. You will be deeply missed.

Gabe, the demension of your life will only grow in time -- Your home designs are a testament to your skill and knowledge, a blend of your ability to share the environment, the earth and yourself.

May you continue to ride the mountains, valleys and passes of the Ouray country with the spirt of the winds.

God Bless your journey

I really don’t know where to begin so I will start at the beginning. I spent much of my childhood with Gabe and his family. We started in elementary school and Optimus football. We really didn’t become good friends until the 7th or 8th grade because my family moved during the 6th grade. After that we were pretty much inseparable until he went to college in Montana. We could easily be found skiing, playing paintball, out front of Molly’s house throwing a football around or him beating me in a game of hallway Slam ball (Ryan knows what I am talking about because he would partake in the beatings from time to time).Gabe was such a huge part of my child hood, making so many memories easy to recall. I am truly thankful that I got the chance to reconnect with him for a short period of time about six months ago. I will never forget Gabe. I will sincerely miss him and I’m deeply saddened by his early departure. Molly and Ryan, I am truly sorry for the loss of your son and brother and one of my good friend.
