I knew Gary very well...he was a very dear friend of mine and my family and helped me through some very hard times. I also knew his sons Tim and Peter who I've known and been friends with for years although it's been a while since I've seen all three of them. I'm so so sad yet so happy because I was blessed with the opportunity of meeting and becoming friends with him. He will be missed and was a big part of my life. Much love to all of his family...much love to Peter and Tim. Miss you guys and think of you both often.

My heart goes out to the family (especially Peter and Tim) and friends of Gary. I first met Gary in 1962, we were both stationed at Fleet Marine Force Hq, Honolu, Hawaii. We remained friends over the years and unfortunately drifted apart in recent years. I'll remember him most fondly for those early years. Thank you Peter for searching me out, we'll remain in touch.
