Harvey Sargeant Obituary
July 5, 1924 - August 4, 2022
Boise, Idaho - Harvey Oakes Sargeant, 98, died at home in Boise on August 4, 2022, surrounded by family. Raised in White Bear Lake, MN he was the older son of Harvey and Helen Sargeant.
A WWII veteran, graduate of Texas A&M University, and petroleum engineer whose career took him across the globe for 38 years, he will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him. A full obituary is available at relyeafuneralchapel.com/tributes/Harvey-Sargeant
Harvey is survived by his wife of 54 years, Sylvia Sargeant, daughters Risa Sargeant Moriarity (Jack) and Jennifer Petrie Vaaler, sons Charles Sargeant (Jewels) and Jeffrey Sargeant, granddaughters Lindsay Moriarity and Lara Moriarity, grandsons Sargeant Moriarity and Kyle Vaaler, sisters-in-law Patti Walters (George) and Janet Williams (Bill), and nephew Eric Williams (Melissa). He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Edward Sargeant, and niece Andrea Williams.
