Jennifer Carroll Obituary
March 31, 1976 - December 8, 2023
Meridian, Idaho - On December 8, 2023, a bright star went out on this earth. Jenny went to be with her heavenly Father after a 10 year battle with cancer, surrounded by her son, her brother, and her parents.
Jenny was born in Emmett, Idaho to Bill and Shirley Carroll and brother, Cory. She attended Meridian Elementary, Meridian Middle, Meridian High, Boise State, and Meridian School of Beauty. She began working as a nail technician at Wispers Styling Salon in 1994, where she worked until 2022, when her illness prevented it.
She gave birth to her son Blake in 2002. He was her whole world, her reason for living. Their saying for each other was, "Love you to the moon and back."
Jennifer started running at a very young age, and it grew to be her passion. Her attempt at the Salt Flats 100 did not work out due to weather; but later she was highlighted on KTVB for running 100 miles on her own.
The family would like to thank the entire staff at St. Al's Cancer Care Center for their outstanding care of Jenny for the last 10 years.
Jenny was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jewell & Virginia Carroll and Bill and Lois Birch. Survivors include her son, Blake, parents Bill and Shirley Carroll of Meridian; brother Cory Carroll of Boise; nieces, Anna and Charlotte; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins; many #2 sons; and lastly…all of her furbabies.
A Celebration of Jenny's life will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at Central Valley Baptist Church, 600 North Ten Mile Road, Meridian, ID.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that you "Pay it Forward"…..do something for someone to put a smile on their face.
