John Swain

Sioux Falls, SD ~ John David Swain, age 18, went missing on May 11, 2013 in Bismarck, ND and was recovered on June, 26th in Poplar, MT.

Funeral services will begin at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at Sioux Falls Christian High School. A family present visitation will take place on Friday, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sioux Falls Christian High School.

Grateful for having shared his life is his parents, David & Pat Swain, Sioux Falls; brother, Ben (Rachel) Swain, Valley Springs, SD; four nieces and nephews, Mason Blair, Payton, Lauren & Logan Swain; special friend, Rosa Lam of Hong Kong, China; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Noble & Imogene Swain and George & Dorothy Thorson.

I am so sorry for your loss. Troy was on the Storm Thunder squad with John and then played soccer with him. He had the highest respect for him and really enjoyed seeing him. He spoke of him often. We are deeply saddened and you have our sympathy.
