Julie Evans Obituary

Julie Ann Evans
January 2, 1956 - August 7, 2016
Our loving and beautiful wife, mother and sister, Julie Ann Evans, left this earthly life the morning of August 7, 2016, surrounded by her family. She fought a valiant fight against Cystic Fibrosis and pneumonia.
She was born in Boise on January 2, 1956, to Richard and Matilda Sayko. She was the fifth of seven girls born to that union. For many years she lived with her uncle and aunt, Roy and Elise May.
She married her husband, Loring Evans, in Boise, Idaho, on March 24, 1979. They shared 37 years of happy marriage and were the love of each other's lives. Their daughter, Christin, was born in Ketchum, Idaho, on May 2, 1984.
Loring founded Montgomery Inc., a landscape design and architecture company, and Julie was his right-hand woman. Together they built many renowned projects throughout the state.
Julie was a loving and generous woman who always placed God first. She loved the times the family spent camping in McCall, and relished time spent on the lake. She also enjoyed trips to Palm Springs and Arizona, where she could soak up the sun. Wherever the family made their home, Julie quickly turned a house into a loving home.
She took delight in cooking special meals for Loring, and helping their daughter grow into a successful young career woman. She loved her sisters and enjoyed going to the movies with them or sharing a good laugh on the phone.
Julie leaves her devoted and loving husband, Loring Evans, daughter Christin Camacho, and grandchild expected next year. Also surviving are sisters Mary Weeks, Tina Sayko, Bonnie Wakley, Yvonne Gerany, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and two sisters, Rose Marie and Christina.
Julie was deeply loved, and will be sorely missed.
Services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 14, 2016 at Cloverdale Funeral Home, 1200 N. Cloverdale. In lieu of flowers, friends and family may donate to a college fund for young family members at www.gofundme.com/2j3ws7dw

So sorry to hear about Julie's passing. What a lovely lady, we had fun sharing preschool years with her way back on 18th Street. She was always calm, charming and positive. Prayers for the family...

Remember well the hospitality she shared with Jim and I and my sister in McCall when my sister Sarah visited one long week-end. The three of us really enjoyed sailing on the lake while Loring shared stories and poems with all of us. Julie was just beaming. Enjoyed her hospitality on many other occasions. Thoughts and prayers with all of the family.
