Kimberly Marshall Obituary

Kimberly Ann Marshall Kimberly Ann Marshall, 37, passed away at her home in Nampa, Idaho on Saturday morning, September 15, 2012, while struggling in her gracefully sweet warrior like way with painful fibromyalgia. Kimmy was born November 28, 1974 to Judith Ann and David Peter Wiederhold in Dubuque, Iowa. Kim was the youngest of five children, Kelly, Kevin, Kris, Ken, and then Kimmy. As a little girl, with wild blonde hair and blue eyes, she would travel to clients with her step-father (Doc) Richard Fredrickson, a large animal veterinarian, and was affectionately known as "Blue Eyes" by many in the community. At the age of 10, Kim's family moved from Iowa to Salmon, Idaho and Kim lived and spent much time there with family and friends, involved in showing horses, 4H, rodeo, queening, high school sports, ranching, and all manner of activities and fun. She graduated from Salmon High in 1994 with many great friends and memories. Kim soon gave birth to a sweet little daughter named Rylee, married Michael Lawrence and they lived in Meridian with step-sons Dallas and TJ until 2002. Kim met Nate, and remarried on July 23, 2004, making her home in Nampa, Idaho. She worked at Moreton & Company with Nate, making friends and being loved by everyone. She was a wonderful and devoted mother, lovingly and enthusiastically supporting her daughter and step-children, Toree and Brayden, in their schooling, sporting activities, and growing up. Kim also loved the outdoors and spent as much time as possible on 4-wheelers and snow shoes exploring the trails and finding the best hot springs, wild flowers, steams, and spots to sit and view the beautiful scenery for as long as possible. Kim is survived by her husband Nate; children: Rylee, Toree, Brayden; puppy Sunshine, her siblings and loving fathers. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 20, at the Nampa East LDS Stake Center, 3904 E. Greenhurst Road, Nampa. A viewing will be held from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 19, at the Zeyer Funeral Chapel, 83 N Midland Blvd, Namp (467-7300) and at the church from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Thursday, prior to the services. In lieu of a graveside service, a memory box will be available for family and friends to place a small token or memory of Kim. A final memorial site and placement of the memory box will be announced at a later date. Farewell sweetheart, mom, sister, and friend!

I'm so sorry to hear that Kim is gone. She was someone I looked up to in high school, especially in Volleyball. She was an amazing, smart, bright woman. My prayers and heart go out to those of you who are left. I know what it's like to lose someone very close to you. May God be with you in your hours of need, and may He comfort all of you, especially her children and husband at this time, and get you all through this. She will be remembered.

Nate and family, I was deeply saddened to hear about your loss. I know it was so unexpected. You have my deepest sympathy. Kim was such a lovely person and so active and vibrant, which makes it even harder to comprehend her death.

It is times like this that put our faith to the test. I feel that is why we have to use our faith to see us through the grief and despair that comes with tragedy.

All of our prayers should remind us of the loving and compassionate person that she was.

The Bible says "Blessed are they that mourn, for they shall be comforted." I pray that God will bless you and your family and give all of you the strength to get through this very difficult time.

My thoughts and prayers will be with you.

In sympathy,

Mundi

My condolences to Nate and family, for such a terrible loss so early in life. Kim was a pleasure to work with and I considered her a friend. I looked forward to visiting Kim and Nate when I visited Idaho, as it never felt like "work" around them; more like getting together with fun folks. Kim, you will be terribly missed.
