Marcia Morgan Obituary

Marcia Allen "Marcy" Morgan was born on November 25, 1936, in Tacoma, Washington to Ted Pierson and Evelyn (Barnes) Pierson.

When she was eleven years old tragedy struck her family, separating all three children into foster homes. Marcy was placed with a family, and lived with Carl & Zelda Sleater on Puget Sound until high school graduation at 18.

On June 12, 1955, she married her long-time love Tom Morgan, and they moved to White Sands Proving Grounds, New Mexico, where he was stationed.

After Tom's honorable discharge from the Army, they moved to Seattle, Washington, settling by Angle Lake where they raised their three sons.

While raising her family, Marcy worked for Boeing for fifteen years, both she and Tom retired in 1992.

After retirement they thoroughly enjoyed the next two decades traveling throughout the Pacific Northwest, taking cruises, and enjoying many trips to Ocean Shores, Washington, and Cancun, Mexico. In 2013 they moved to Boise, Idaho to be near their eldest son Randy.

Tom passed away in March of 2015, and Marcy navigated life on her own in her beautiful Harris Ranch home until November 2019, when she moved to residential living at the Terraces of Boise. In March 2022, Marcy moved to a higher level of care at the Terraces, where she lived until her passing on September 10, 2025.

Marcy will be buried in Tahoma National Cemetery with her husband Tom. Together Forever; Forever Together.

Marcy has requested there be no public service.

Marcy was preceded in death by her husband Thomas O. Morgan Jr.; birth parents Ted and Evelyn Pierson; her brothers Ronald and James, and her loving foster parents Carl and Zelda Sleater.

Marcy is survived by sons Randy (Patty) Morgan of Boise, Idaho and Granddaughter Kheele (Jon) Arrieta and great-grandson Braydn of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; Tracy (Wendi) Morgan of Aiea, Hawaii; David (Betty) Morgan of Auburn, Washington; her sister Carlene Stewart and family of Oregon City, Oregon; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
