Mark Svoboda Obituary

Mark Svoboda
November 25, 1960 - October 17, 2022
Boise, Idaho - Mark Jeffrey Svoboda, age 61 of Boise, Idaho, passed away on the afternoon of Monday, October 17th, 2022, after a brief battle with an aggressive form of brain cancer.
Mark and his wife Nancy celebrated 35 loving years of marriage together. He was a father to four girls, Jennifer, Katie, Laura, Michelle and a grandfather to two granddaughters. He loved and cherished his family deeply. His music of choice was always classic rock which he passed down to his daughters by jamming out in the car or taking them to concerts. Mark was gentle and kind and enjoyed spending time in his garage with a sports game on the t.v. drinking a beer with his friends. His laugh and gentle heart will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.
If you would like to pay your respects a service will be held at 11a.m. Friday, November 4th, at St Mark's Catholic Church, followed by a reception in the church hall.

Mark was my one and only love.
We met the summer of 1979 at a golf club in Palatine, IL where we both worked.
42 years together was not long enough!
Mark gave me everything, he made all my dreams come true. 35 years of marriage, 4 wonderful daughters, so many great adventures and a life full of wonderful memories will have to sustain me until we meet again. Rest in peace my love.
Your loving wife,
Nancy

I have too many great memories with my friend Mark going back over 20 years to count. Mark was a great Man, Father, Husband, Grandfather, and Friend.
I had fun spending time with Mark, his family and our friends skiing, golfing, jet skiing and just hanging out. We spent countless evenings in Mark's man cave watching sports, playing darts, and sometimes midnight basketball. Mark was taken too soon he will be greatly missed by all. Rest in peace buddy, love you, God Bless.

Uncle Mark was a wonderful man, he will be truly missed by all who were lucky enough to know him. I´ve been extraordinarily lucky to have been able to spend a week with the Svoboda family the past 3 years.

Remembering all the wonderful times I was able to share with Mark. His love for my sister Nancy overflowed on to me. As a kid they included me many times and we went to Chicago Cubs games, music festivals, the beach and many other places. I´m so glad that I was able to tag along. Mark was always kind and fun to be around. He laughed easily and I enjoyed talking to him, because he always laughed at my jokes. He was a huge part of my life growing up and I´m glad I was able to spend more time with him the last several years. He was a loving husband and father, and he was my friend, my brother-in-law, and a wonderful part of my family.

Great father and husband. Kind neighbor. Wonderful man of the community. Taken too soon. His life had meaning. He adored his wife. He was a great son. He raised wonderful children and grandchildren. He showed the children that he cared for in his community how to be kind and supportive when it would have been easier to keep to himself. We can all take a page from this man´s life and go be kind to others. Help your children be their best. Help your neighbors. Be kind to a neighborhood child. Mark will be missed. I hope we can all pick up where he left off and serve others kindly.
