To the Hicks family: I am very sorry to hear of Matt's passing. I got to know him when he was an intern at our IBM office in the Chicagoland area. He was a sweet young man with a dry wit and very dedicated. We had many conversations about music and his love of punk. May God comfort you all as you grieve.

I am sending my deepest sympathies to Matt's loved ones. He was a dear and kind person I am lucky to have known. His intelligence and love for his kids and music were unparalleled.
Kind regards,
Jennifer

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends. Please take comfort in the words found at 2nd Thessalonians 2:16,17.

But we know your faith is strong so we pray for God's comfort and peace as we know Matt is now in heaven. We will all be together in eternity. That's God's promise to all who believe in him.
